Unable to find a picture of the first one (No. 699), but the second one, just above, is VIN 000125, built November 2003. As you can see, it's a Mark 1 260 SE, with sunroof, etc. and a well known history:

Looks lovely and indeed very collectable with that provenance / condition but.. 'The service indicator is now set to 15,000 miles.' Shouldn't that read '5000 miles'?

Think Dom has the low down on this one - lots of replacement panels - hence the boot spoiler, no v8 badges, no headlamp washers but xenons etc.

And, if anyone has a spare £17,000 then why not go for an even lower mileage one...

This is an ex RUC car, which was previously listed on car and classic at 3200. I've met the owner and seen the car - it was a connoisseur which has been contemporary'd - the front bumper has been replaced as the original has cut outs for police lights.

I do think, although cannot prove that some of this stuff gets bid up - but warning to anyone who wins - if it doesn't reach a desirable figure, the seller has been known to play silly buggers by not replying to comms, then slapping a non-paying bidder complaint in on ebay.

I've got £6,200 in my mind, assuming that it's as described!

He paid 3200 for it at most.

depends, it's not original spec- which at that mileage would be a must.

I also can't see any mention of important work I.e mechanicals

Brakes - lines and rear discs and pads?
Diff - is it leaking? When was the oil changed?
Heater hose and valve?

Front suspension arms, drop links?

Shockers? Leaking? Something to bear in mind if you're putting miles on it.

Personally I'm not a fan of low mileage cars, a car to me is much more proven if it's done 100k, over something that's done 30.

As it doesn't rock my world in the slightest, a value from me...

If anything you'd be much better off with a trophy blue zt260
