For nearly thirty years Peter Best Insurance Services Ltd, PBIS for short, has organically grown to become one of the most trusted names in Classic Car Insurance today. PBIS is a leading specialist insurance broker offering tailored schemes for classic and collectable vehicles and also provides competitive cover for private motor, household, commercial and healthcare insurances.

Starting in 1985 with a single concept for a classic car scheme for MGs, PBIS has grown to become one of the largest and most trusted names in Classic & Collectable vehicle insurance. PBIS operates from two offices located at Maldon and Kelvedon in Essex and currently employs around 40 key staff. The company prides itself on its in depth market knowledge and highly trained staff delivering exemplary customer service as well as very competitive premiums to its customers. A significant part of its business is working with the many UK classic vehicle clubs and the company is committed to supporting the continued development and growth of such associations and their members.

At a time when the insurance market is dominated on the web by aggregator and comparison websites, direct writers and other significant players, please remember that if you want to talk to qualified experienced advisors, you should certainly speak to a professional insurance broker - preferably Peter Best Insurance.

XPart developed from the parts supply and distribution business of MG Rover, and became part of Caterpillar Logistics Services in August 2004. The main UK operation was then at its 200,000 square metre site at Desford, near Leicester where 1,800 staff were employed. Other facilities were located in Lichfield, Hemel Hempstead, Manchester, Peterborough, Peterlee and Wakefield.

After the closure of MG Rover in April 2005, XPart took on the re-supply of Rover 75 headlamps, and the radiator cooling fan motor assembly, and also purchased over 250,000 parts manufactured in China using original tooling. Its current product range contains more than 40,000 parts for MG and Rover vehicles and 35,000 parts for other makes, including the BMW Mini.

Today, XPart continues to provide affordable specialist servicing and parts for the two million or so MG Rover cars on the road around the world, of which about half are in the UK, and supporting a strong global network of importers, wholesalers and MG Rover specialist AutoService centres, 250 of whom are based in the UK.

In November 2012, Caterpillar Logistics Services changed its name to Neovia Logistics Services, and in the summer of 2014, the XPart distribution business re-located to new premises at Hinckley, Leicestershire.

On 1st November 2017, XPart became part of the Leacy Motor Group. In addition to XPart, the Leacy Group includes the Leacy Classics business, suppliers of Classic MG and Mini parts, and the iconic Wood and Pickett name. www.leacyclassics.com
