Yes, but I've never been anywhere near it. Take 40 years off my age and that would not have been true!

Postponement of the meeting.

Due to the "English" version of Corona and because politics remains unclear, we unfortunately are forced to postpone the meeting again.
Since the hotel is fully booked in September, which we had in mind as an alternative date, the meeting will now take place from
May 26, 2022 to May 29, 2022.

Important:
All bookings have been canceled
Nobody needs to call the hotel.
The program will be taken over if possible, you will be informed of any changes in time.

Above all, stay healthy.

Christa und

We will keep you updated - the invitation has been updated as well.
We are planning an alternative meeting in September - details will follow once available.

Hopes dashed again although it was obvious that the meeting would not be held this year. Just hoping that my rapidly advancing years will allow me to drive so far next year. Not to mention the rapidly increasing insurance costs!
I notice an edit from the original posting to give a somewhat more tactful description of the politicians.
However, I notice that the UK variant gets named as such when the Chinese variant cannot be because of racism.

Hi Bernard,

It would be great if you could join us next year and I’m sure you can as you are still young.
Indeed it is the UK variant that is now active on the continent.
But indeed Covid itself is a Chinese illness that is bothering more than 1 year now.
So much is clear that we can say this openly.

By the way Bernard, we are thinking of planning an alternative meeting in September, if possible a weekend from let’s say Saturday noon until Sunday noon.
In the summer Covid is like any other flu probably less active, so that gives hope.
We will keep you informed.

Take care.
