I've always been a Midsomer fan and have previously owned 4 Rover 75's over the years, but as everyday cars, they don't tick all our family's boxes. This will be a special car, used sparingly, but definitely used, for special occasions and car shows etc. (taking it in turn with my DeLorean).
I am 'handy with the spanners' after a lifetime of tinkering and restoring old cars. AHA has been stood for quite a long time and is in the process of being 'fettled up' by me. Not restored to 'concourse condition'. I do like my cars to be in very good condition, but with their history and battle scars worn with pride .....and kept garaged. This car has History by the bucket full which I shall be putting back and polishing up. I look forward to seeing some of out and about over the coming years.
