Changes announced to MOT rules in UK due to current COVID-19 crisis

Changes announced to MOT rules in UK due to current COVID-19 crisis

Post Number:#1  Post by Mr Hyde » March 25th, 2020, 11:09

There’s two different pages on gov.uk with advice on what to do depending on whether your MOT expires before 30th March or after

Coronavirus (COVID-19): MOTs for cars, vans and motorcycles due before 30 March 2020

Coronavirus (COVID-19): MOTs for cars, vans and motorcycles due from 30 March 2020

For the latter group, the currently valid MOT is being given a 6 month extension

Well Ed's MOT isn't due until November, so hopefully we'll all be better, or dead by then!

I wish they would update the DVLA info to reflect the new dates!

Ours on the Rexton is due in just about two weeks. The DVLA website still has this date...

I did read somewhere that it flips over to the extended date the day before, but it would be nice if it was sooner, to take some of the jeopardy away.
